Terms

About these terms

These terms cover your use of the Bill Pal app and website, run by David Hooper Home Limited, trading as DH Website Services. By using Bill Pal you agree to them.

Bill Pal is in testing

Bill Pal is a test version. Chipping in records a pledge, but no real money is sent yet. Features may change or stop working, and we may reset test data.

How payments will work

When payments are switched on, your bank will pay the supplier directly through a regulated payment provider, using the bill's own reference. Bill Pal will never hold your money. A payment you make is a gift towards someone else's bill. Once your bank has sent it, it can't be taken back through Bill Pal.

Posting a bill

What isn't allowed

Fake or edited bills, bills that aren't yours, offensive notes, and anything that breaks the law. We can close accounts that do these things and may report fraud.

Our checks have limits

We check bills against supplier details, but we can't guarantee every bill or every person is genuine. Use your own judgement about who you help. You can report any bill from its details screen.

Liability

We provide Bill Pal as it is, while it's in testing. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under UK consumer law, or our liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.

Changes and law

We'll update these terms as Bill Pal develops, and tell you about important changes in the app. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
